The Cotswold Way

We are lucky enough to be located in a beautiful part of the country with a wealth of famous walking routes and an abundance of public footpaths through the countryside. Just a few miles from our offices is the start of The Cotswold Way.

  • The Cotswold Way is a beautiful 102 mile route running for most of its length on the Cotswold escarpment
  • It starts at Chipping Campden, leading all the way to the beautiful city of Bath
  • The full route takes between seven to 10 days to complete
  • The scenery en route ranges from sweeping views to historic monuments and picturesque villages
  • This long-distance walking trail is a walker’s paradise in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
  • Take in beautiful rural surroundings and far reaching views from the Cotswold escarpment
  • The footpaths and bridleways lead along rolling hills, dramatic escarpment and winding river valleys
  • Historic sites include the Roman heritage at Bath, the Neolithic burial chamber at Belas Knap, Sudeley Castle near Winchcombe and Hailes Abbey and many others
  • The Cotswolds provide a wealth of lovely walks from gentle strolls to hilly hikes with a variety of circular walks for people of all abilities
  • The Cotswold Way was formally launched as a National Trail in May 2007, one of the 15 National Trails in England and Wales
